Previous Careers: College campus minister (UC Berekely) and Jr. High Math Teacher (Rialto, CA)
What did I love about it? Making complex ideas simple; illuminating the "AHA" moment; helping others find confidence in their path.
Financial Advising: I still see my role as that of a teacher, mentor, guide, coach, or counselor. I've been at it since 2006 and my favorite part is getting to interview my clients and learn about their past and plan their future.
Personal Life: I have three kids who challenge and amaze me. We've been in Davis since 2010 and I like the small-town community. You're bound to run into a friend at the hardware store, farmer's market, pub, or out to dinner.
Giving back: I serve as a Board Member with the Davis Chamber of Commerce. I coach baseball and basketball, and ref soccer.
Favorite Charity: International Justice Mission. They liberate, advocate, adjudicate, educate and empower people around the world trapped in human trafficking and slavery.
Recharging: skiing, scuba diving, mountain biking, hiking, gym, or any adventure I can find. Currently finishing Breaking Bad.
Favorite Muppet: Fozzie Bear. I love to make others laugh, especially my kids. I've always appreciated stand-up comedians, their outside-of-the-box outlook on life, the risks they take, and the work they put into perfecting their craft. Wakka, wakka, wakka!
